A Premiere Choice

Berkshire Labels has recently completed a successful launch for a new and innovative range of interactive peel and read labels for its customer, Premiere Products.

The interactive labels were printed digitally on one of Berkshire Labels WS6600 Indigos and converted into finished labels on their newly commissioned 4th Digicon.  It is here where the label ends up as a dual layer with adhesive print, twin die cuts and release lacquers.

Following 90 years of progressive innovation, Premiere was keen to embrace new digital innovations which allow them closer communication with their end users.  Along with digital print flexibility and peel and read versatility, the label carries an invisible embedded watermark which now makes it interactive.

Berkshire Labels interactive partner for this project was Linkz.  From scanning the label with a smart phone the end user is taken off to enjoy training videos, technical and safety data and connect directly to the new webstore  www.premiereproducts.co.uk

The labels were part of Premiere’s new brand relaunch which took place last month at Amsterdam’s ISSA Show.  “Premiere’s innovative partnership which Berkshire Labels demonstrates our commitment to raising customer service levels across our trade markets ensuring we maximise brand education and global sales opportunities.  Berkshire Labels came to the table with some great innovations that enabled us to fulfil our goals” said Peter Brown, Premiere’s Director of Innovations, Sales & Marketing.

Paul Roscoe, Managing Director for Berkshire Labels commented “its been great to work with Premiere right from the early stages of discussing all possibilities, sharing machine drawings of the newly required capital investment, embedding the Linkz technology, right through to meeting the tight deadlines and supporting their new brand launch in time for the show”.
