LOVE Kombucha is the message being spread by one Newbury couple as they launch their new soft drink business from their West Berkshire home.

Melanie Millin and her partner Craig Coleman, aged 33, are still working full-time in their roles as European recruiter and commercial director for a large corporate organisation and are dedicating their evening and weekend time to brewing their own Kombucha drinks.

Kombucha is a fermented soft drink made from water, green tea and sugar and is thought to have many health benefits.

She added that the couple was keen to support other local businesses, by sourcing organic produce as locally as possible and also commissioning Hungerford-based Company Berkshire Labels to create the branding for their bottles.
